LindsYogs’ Guide to Goal Setting for 2022

Step confidently into 2022. Leave what doesn't serve you behind in 2021.

As you move towards 2022, can you learn to let go of the negative aspects of previous years? Rather than holding onto mistakes, missteps, and grudges from 2021, 2020, and before, can you embrace a brighter future?

I believe that optimistically looking ahead will serve the soul more than dwelling on things that have already transpired. You can’t change the past, but you can change the present and influence the future. Concentrating more on what you want in the future can help you take actions that will benefit you. Of course, you should reflect on the past, learn from it, and use it to inspire your future. But if your path changes, you should not feel constricted or bound by past mistakes and problems.

Take every step and breath like it is your first: full of hope and optimism. I promise that if you continue to stay present with a hopeful future in mind, you will find more happiness and fulfillment in life.

Be loyal to your future self. Do the things that will make it happy and proud.

To help you on your path to goal setting for 2022, I have prepared a table that you can use. This exercise should take no longer than 10 minutes and you can reflect back on it during the new year whenever you are facing major decisions or feel lost. Remember what you had planned and intended to do and use that to guide you. Of course, you can edit your plan as needed, but it is helpful to have some sort of outline in place.

Please see my own example below. You can copy/paste this into your own document. Or simply click the subscribe button below to sign up for my newsletter and I will send you your very own blank template that can be reused year after year.
